Air Forte released on Steam! Our game "Air Forte" has been released on Steam! It includes the PC and Mac version, and is having a 10% off promotion for its first week of release. http://store.steampowered.com/app/55020 Air Forte is a game exploring math, vocabulary, and geography. Pilot your airplane through a variety of arenas, either by yourself or up to four other players. Flotilla v2.4 released We've made a new patch for Flotilla, adding some extra features and fixing some bugs. Here's the full changelist: Crash: Fixed crash in audio initialization. Game: AI now chooses enemy targets on a more random basis. Game: Fixed issue with Bruja Heart item not working. Game: Camera no longer automatically zooms out after all ships have orders. Player can manually invoke camera reset by clicking mousewheel. Game: Fixed Adventure issue where player has no more planets to visit. Controls: Q and E now lower/raise the camera. Controls: can now use numpad for camera control. If you have the Steam version, it will auto- update itself. Otherwise, grab the patch here: http://blendogames.com/flotilla/help.htm ------------------------------------------- 3. What's next from Blendo Games? Our next title is coming along nicely. We're very excited at having our first internal playtest this Friday. What's a playtest? We start a playtest by bringing in someone who has never before seen our project. This person is plopped in front of our game and we tell them: "start playing." Watching someone play an early version of your game is an experience that's at once wonderful and soul-crushing. In a lot of ways, it's like watching your firstborn take their first steps, and in many other ways it's like watching the hunter take a shot at Bambi's mom. After the playtest, we end up with a notebook filled with Everything That Went Horribly Wrong. We address these notes by taking our game and performing a variety of lobotomies and operations. Once we feel the glaring issues have been dealt with, we set up our next playtest session with someone new - and so it all begins again. For now, these are internal playtests.
