Anti-Aliasing Issue

Anti-Aliasing Issue

Postby Little Nomad » October 13th, 2011, 9:59 am

I can barely read the in-game text because all of the diagonal lines in the graphics are either absent or very blurry.

How can I fix this?

Thank you.

Something's gone horribly wrong there. Let's try to diagnose the problem.

1. Are you running on a desktop or laptop?
2. What kind of video card do you have?
3. What operating system are you running? (win xp, win 7, linux, mac lion)
4. I'm assuming you're running in Netbook mode - can you see if the problem persists if you turn off Netbook mode?
5. Can you please run this and see if the text displays correctly: http://blendogames.com/dev/3dtest.zip

Oh wow, that was fast ^ ^

1. Laptop (Compaq Presario C500)
2. Intel (Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950?)
3. Windows XP
4. The resolution seemed to change a bit, but the text is still messed up...
5. Oh gee, it has the same problem http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/505/tempvi.jpg

The 3D test also said:
vendor: Intel
renderer: Intel 945GM
version: 1.4.0 - Build 7.14.10.4926
shader version:

My best guess would be it's a video card issue. Can you possibly find and install the latest driver for your video card?

Ah, I looked it up and it said my video card stuff is all up-to-date.

It's probably my dinosaur computer. Thanks for all your help. ^ ^

Nevermind!

I found out the problem. It was with my OpenGL settings. The "Force Texture Compressions" were the problem I think. They were on for some reason.

I reset everything to the defaults and now it looks great.

Thanks again for your help ^ ^
Awesome game by the way.
