Display driver stopped responding

Hello. I bought the game on Steam and it doesn't work it gives Display driver stopped responding error.
I Have Ati 6870 and yes I tried to delete the ATIGKTXX.dll I also tried the Patch,The VisualC ++
If any one knows a fix it would be awesome.

Can you please post the error message? When the error window appears, press ctrl+c to copy it, and then ctrl+v to paste it here.

Also, can you please try updating your video card driver?

it didn't work on catalyst 11.09 but it works on 11.10 so thanks :)
