Just read the article http://tiny.cc/OSISC and it was highly entertaining.I thought you might be interested in OK Cupid Trends: http://blog.okcupid.com/. It's a blog run by the OKCupid staff on which they post data collected (anonymously) from the site. They make colourful graphs and charts and it all makes for terrifying and compelling reading (be sure to read this http://tiny.cc/OnhJc). The most recent post is about how a person's race affects the probability of a response to first contact from different racial groups. Needless to say the comments thread is a minefield.
